1. Empathize

4. Prototype

Finding the best possible solutions to issues uncovered in prior stages is what this phase is all about. 

The first three processes aim to identify the optimal solution for each identified problem. During this phase, the design thinking team will better understand the product's constraints and challenges and how consumers will engage with the product.

5. Test

After it has passed through the prototype stage, a final product is put through its paces by product testers or designers who use the best solutions that they have come up with to test it. The insights gained during the testing phase are often used to redefine one or more issues and inform knowledge of users, use-cases, how people think, behave and feel, and the ability to empathize with them and the experiences they are experiencing. Product tweaking and improvement occur at this stage of the development process, allowing for eliminating potentially problematic aspects of the product and gathering as much information as possible about its users.
