Google released it's new video app named Tangi a video app focusing in short videos - DIY. The Video app was built by a Google team in its Area 120, a workshop for experimental products.
It's a searchable library of videos that inspire people to try any creative projects in kind of arts, cooking, fashion, beauty, and other lifestyle you want to share. You might even say it's a clone of the Pinterest app.
The difference among other DIY short-video social media apps is the 60 second videos to help creators try something new and its "Try It" feature. “Try It” is a way for anyone to share re-creations of videos they're doing, and it's a great way to interact with other community members - between the Tangi creators and their fans.
“We only focus on DIY and creativity content,” explains Tangi founder, Coco Mao. “Our platform’s goal is to help people learn to craft, cook and create with quick one-minute videos. We designed Tangi to make it easier for users to find a lot of high-quality how-to videos,” she says.
The video app is only available for IOS users in the App store for now or the Tangi's website at tangi.co. Though the Upload is not available to everyone yet but you can request to join their waitlist here just make sure that you have at least account in YouTube, TikTok, or Instagram for them to review your application.
